- Scenario/Map Editor has been fully implemented into the game
- You may edit a single player save games from the ‘Single Player Game’ selection in the ‘Load Existing Scenario’ menu of the Editor.
- ‘Toggle Player Race’ has been replaced by ‘Editor Race Selection’
- ‘Toggle Race Identity’ has been replaced by ‘Change a Race’
- When you make a task active, the tasks that the colonists in the active task can move to are highlighted.
- The Starflare Bombers have also had their range reduced by one
- A ‘Crop Plague’ or a successful ‘Poison Land’ mission now halves food production as well as reducing the food reserves of that territory by 50%
- The Re’Lu, Cyth, and ChCh-t special spy missions now have a success rate of 50% for green, 75% for veteran and 100% for elite Scouts
- Both the Tarth and the Uva Mosk have a 10% patrol bonus to discover enemy spies
- Re’Lu scouts will subvert, if successful, at rates 5% (Green), 10% (Veteran), or 15% (Elite) up to a maximum of 25% per territory per turn
- Scouts have a patrol bonus of 5% (Green), 10% (Veteran), or 15% (Elite) up to a max of 25% per territory
- The Air Unit maintenance modifier has been changed from x3 to x4
- The ROF has been increased/decreased for a few units
- The air attack value of the Flak Launcher has been increased from 8 to 10
- The ‘Power Cell’ technology now increases the ROF of forts as well as units
- The cost of buying technologies has been doubled, and the cost of units have been increased by 50%.
