Safe Bet On Roulette Game:

Throughout the game, especially in the Viper Manor, there are many decoy treasure chest which are actually enemies. When you encounter them they tell you, you only have “one chance” to attack the correct one to recieve the prize they have. All you have to do to ensure yourself the prize is to randomly attack one. If you do not choose the right one the first time, just “run away” and repeat. You can do this as many times as you want at no cost. Enjoy!

Easy way to beat Dario:
This is a very easy way to beat Dario and get Serge’s most powerful weapon. First you have to go battle the Black Dragon and use Fargo to steal the armor called the “Black Plate”. Next equip the black plate on Serge after having beat all of the other dragons except for the White Dragon. To be able to fight Dario you have to battle Peppor and Solt where Garai once was. After the battle they give you an item used to make Dario regain his memory. One you have the item (again make sure that you have the Black Plate on serge, and Riddle in your party) go to the tiny island to the northeast of the big island called the Forbidden Island. Go in the hut and then battle Dario. The battle should be semi-easy as all of Dario’s magic when cast at Serge will heal him. Once the battle is over you should receive the Masamune. Side Note: Dario has about 3800 hp.

New Game+ feature
Successfully complete the game, then load the saved game. This will give you a “New Game+” feature. This game allows access to your old level, elements, and summons.

Hints
Infinite money, Dragoon’s Glory’s, Viper’s LvL 7 Tech Skill
After Serge is reborn, visit Termina (Home World) with Viper in your party. Talk to the barmaid, go into the back room, and examine the flag on the back wall. Viper will talk briefly about the flag and then take his LvL 7 Tech Skill, “FlagBearer” and a Dragoon’s Glory. Exit the room and re-enter. Examine the back wall with Viper still in your party. Even though there is no flag, Viper will say the same thing that he said before and will take another “FlagBearer” and Dragoon’s Glory. Repeat this as many times as needed. Each Dragoon’s Glory can be sold for 4,000 gold. The stats for Dragoons’s Glory is Atk. +3, Hit% +3%, Mgc. +2. You can also disassemble them for 1 Denadorite, 2 Scale, 2 Fur, and 2 Fang.

Always win at roulette
The following trick allows you to win the roulette game every time in the casino on the Zelbess. When the pointer begins to spin and the red tip is in between the west and the south points of the roulette wheel, pause the game. Then, repeatedly press Circle and resume the game. It will land on north every time, giving you double the money you wagered.

Feed all 100 dragons
Note: A controller with a turbo feature is needed for this trick. When you meet the man who feeds dragons in a barn, you can earn prizes depending on how many dragons you feed for him. To feed all 100, set the turbo feature on X and use the D-pad to move back and forth.

Feel elements
Use a Feel element and then use an element that is opposite of the color of the Feel element to inflict more damage to an opponent. For example, use Feel Yellow and then use a Green Element.

Summon
The field effect in the upper right corner has to be all one color to use a summon. For example, to cast a Blue Summon like Frog, the field effect has to be solid blue.

Get Mojo
In the “Home World”, get the shark tooth from the fisherman. Then in “Present World”, show the shark tooth to the scarecrow (Mojo) and he will join your party.

Get Guile
In Termina, talk to the statue polishing man, then go to Korcha (boat man). Talk to him and he will tell you to get a person to help you to get to Viper Manor. Go to the bar and Guile will be the man next to the locked door. Ask him, or you can get Pierre or Nikki.

Get Kid
After you talk to Lenna, go to Cape Howl. When you are leaving, Karsh will walk up to you and Kid will appear.

Get Glenn and Macha
Say “No” to save Kid when she is poisoned and get Glenn and Macha (Korcha mother). Glenn and Serge have an attack together called “X strike”.

Get Lenna
Say “No” after Cape Howl when Kid asks to join you. Go back and ask.

Give Bellflower to Glenn
Go to the moutntain after Cape Howl and walk around where there is a brown monster. Avoid it and walk to the purple flowers. Get them, and when you get to Termina, go to where Glenn’s brother and father are buried. He will be there with General Viper’s daughter. He will walk up and ask you to give them for free.

Hydra Humour for Kid
Press Start on the world map and change to “Home World” from Opassa Beach. Go to Hydra Swamp (dwarves place) to find a Hydra Humour

How to get the Chrono Cross:
To get the Chrono Cross go to Dragon Falls (Another) and use the two blue crystals pieces. Its only purpose is to get you the best ending.

Get All Characters:
Once you’ve beaten the game, use new game+ and play through until you get the Chrono Cross again. Next, go to Spriggan’s home dimension using the portal in the Hidora Swamp and use the Chrono Cross as soon as you get there. You will get all your characters back from your previous saved games.

How to get the moon glass’s:
After getting Glenn into Termina, move him and another party member (I used Guile) to hermit’s hideaway, and there you’ll fight Harle. When the battle begins, hit her with every white element you have, “X strike” is nice here, but the point of the matter is to kill her before she use’s “Moon Beams”, if you do this, you get the Moon Glass’s when you defeat her. They half all physical damage.

How to beat Dario w/o any special equipment:
All you have to do is have enough IceBlast elements to equip on every slot of each characters element grid, then use whatever attack combo you prefer, then use your strongest available IceBlast. This causes Dario to use Weaken, which takes up his turn. You can just keep doing this until Dario is defeated, without having one HP taken away from any of your party members!

How to get Harle permanently:
To get Harle permanently without losing her… do the following: Beat the game three times getting each set of characters (Guile, Nikki and Pierre). Don’t forget to alternate in saving and not saving Kid. Remember to beat the game with Harle in your party. This means you have to beat the game before you lose her. The forth time you beat the game, use the Chrono Cross and you’ll get Harle back permanently!

Hint:
In Viper Manor, in the battle screen with LI’L BOXER. When you chose attack, a side box appears that describes your apponits stat’s. Also in this box are Male & Female sign’s, always attack the Female and you’ll get the prize everytime.

New Game:
Finish the game, save & load the game. You can acess level, element & summon that you had before.

Cool As Ice level:
The ice mission near the start is easier than it looks. Collect as many crates as possible without using any utilities, then use the jet pack to get up to the next section near the guard. Collect all the crates there and stand on the polar bear’s head. Point the flame thrower at a spot just to the left of the guard, and fire. You should get through the barrier protecting him, and the flames should send him into the water. Strap on your jetpack and get to the flamethrower. The flamethrower is the most important item on this level. Use it to shoot at your opponents. If it does not immediately kill them, shoot a fire barrel to finish them off.

Super Sheep Racing:
If you have collected a crate at the very left of the level, and the next crate appears at the very right, deliberately crash or detonate your current sheep and set off a new one. This will save time.

Desperation attack:
If you are almost dead and a lot of worms are nearby, use the Banana Bomb to blow them all up.

Defeating High Max
After getting Zero, go through the teleporters and find High Max with Zero. Make sure to have both Sub-tanks full before facing him. Use the Sharks weapon with Zero. Take your time facing him — it takes awhile to figure out his attacks and how to get close to him.

Extra points

Go to the circular area in Aquaria Towers, where you ride the Manta Ray. Follow the edge of the room and ram the sheep that appear. The sheep will regenerate with each “lap” around the room. An extra life is earned for every ten butterflies that are eaten.

Extra lives:
An extra life is obtained for every ten butterflies Spyro eats.

Skill points:
After defeating Ripto, a “Skill Points” section will appear in the guidebook. If you complete certain tasks in the game, you will be awarded a skill point. There are a total of 16 skill points in the entire game. After accomplishing one of these tasks, a sound will play and a bonus life will be awarded.

1. In Colusus, get a perfect score. (5-0) while playing hockey 1 on 1.
2. In Idol Springs, glide and land on the big idol next to the hula girl.
3. In Fracture Hills, charge through the supercharge lap three times without stopping.
4. In Skelos Badlands, destroy all the Cacti.
5. In Skelos Badlands, kill all the flying CatBats.
6. In Aquaria Towers, destroy all the seaweed.

Moneybags’ lessons:

Speedway Orbs:
To earn the Orb in each of the four speedways you must first find the hidden task to perform. The game cannot be completed 100% without the Orbs.

Ocean Speedway:
There is a large group of spectators, ahead and to the left as you begin the level . Fly to them and talk to the fish-like lady to acquire the task. Complete the task to receive an Orb.

Metro Speedway:
Fly toward the large group of buildings. There is a waterfall in the center of them. Fly behind the waterfall to find a person that will reveal the task for the Orb.

Icy Speedway:
Fly around the main island until you locate a igloo. Headbash the igloo and Hunter will give you another task.

Canyon Speedway:
Follow the path of goats until reaching the area with the circling vultures. Fly high above to the canyon rim and look for Hunter in a little nook.

Summer Forest Orbs:
Find Hunter near the large pond and he will reveal a series of jumps to perform.

Dive down a pool of water to your left where you started the level. Climb the stairs at the end to find the Orb.

Once you have learned to climb, go to the large orange circle room. Climb the ladder to find the Orb.

There is a door then some stairs in the room where Moneybags lowers a wall. At the top should be a window and a closed door to the right. Glide out the window and move to the left into another window to find the Orb.

Autumn Plains Orbs:
Before the stairs leading to the Boss Are some cracks in the wall which you can ram through. Use the whirlwind, and then the next one, to reach the high tower. From here, look ahead and you will see a tall platform in the distance, outside and to the left of the outer wall of the main yard. Glide to it and get the Orb.

Another description to get this Orb is as follows: climb up all the ladders next to Moneybags. Turn left at the portal to Scorch. Go down the hallway until you find a cracked wall on your left. Break the wall by charging into it. Go up the whirlwind. At the top of it, you will find a few gems. Then, go up the other whirlwind. Glide from the platform to the long green platform. There should be an Orb at that location.

From the tall platform (above), glide the outer wall and make your way to the left. At the end you should see another cracked wall. The Orb is inside.

Winter Tundra Orbs:
Use the whirlwind in the courtyard to rise high in the air. From here, go right and find the a waterfall going into a pool of water. Dive in the water and follow the path to the last Orb. You should come out near Canyon Speedway.

Use the whirlwind again to go to the left side of the courtyard. Land on the wall. The Orb is just sitting there and is easy to find.

After you learn how to headbash, look for the largest rock near the entrance to the courtyard. Headbash the rock and to find the Orb inside.

Epilogue:
Complete all sixteen skill points to unlock the “Epilogue” section in the guidebook. This option reveals what happens after the game as well as enemies that were made but were not in the final version.

10,000 gems:
Money Bags gives you all your gems that you paid him back after beating Ripto, thus giving you 10,000 gems if you collected all of them.

Permanent Super Fireball:
You get to go to “Dragon Shores” after defeating Ripto. All 10,000 gems and 64 orbs are required to enter the door at that location. A permanent Super Fireball power-up is inside.

After completing the game and receiving 100%, pick up the Permanent Fire Ball ability, finish “Dragon Shores” and exit the game. Then, without turning off the PlayStation, overwrite the character that was just used to complete the game. Restart the game and it should allow you to keep the Fire Ball ability from the very beginning.

Orb on Secret Ledge in Summer Forest:
To get that orb at that ledge you saw at the last pillar of Hunter’s challenge, you need to go back at the portal leading to Glimmer and then dive in the pond. Follow the path, while collecting the treasure then go up the steps and get the orb.

Orbs in Autumn Plains:
To get one orb, you need to find Elora and talk to her. She is supposed to say something about a whirlwind being activated by orbs. You should collect enough orbs to activate it. When it’s activated, go up then glide to the ledge. Go all the way to the end wall then charge it to get one orb.

To get the other orb on the faraway ledge, climb the ladder near Moneybags then climb those two ladders that leads to the portal near Scorch. Go through to the tunnel and charge the cracked wall. Go up the whirlwind, collect the treasure then go up the next whirlwind. Make a very long glide to the ledge and finally get the orb!

Rescue the Faun:
Pre-requisites:
1. You MUST know the headbash move.
2. You MUST have killed all of the earthshapers, some of them can be pushed into lava, the rest are taken care of by…
3. You must complete both of Hunter’s tasks (Alchemist Escort & Earthshaper Bash).
4. You MUST have killed AT LEAST 14 enemies in this area.

In Authumn Plains/Fracture Hills talk to Spinner the Faun, she tells you about her friend in the locked room w/o a key. Just to her left there is a little gulley, drop down in there and you’ll be on a path. Run down the path (Pressing the square button), through the power up (speed). Continue running breaking through the 1st door. Follow the path around, just as it makes a sharp left press the jump button (X), but don’t release the run button (this whole thing must be done while running super-fast). You should jump up into the tunnel, continue running through the tunnel to the right, then to the left, then JUMP again just after you make your left to clear the edge at the end of the tunnel breaking through the 2nd door. Keep running following the path, jump over the lava and follow the path breaking right through the 3rd door, follow the path through this tunnel and as soon as you exit, veer to your left and head up the ramp and through the 4th door, keep following through this tunnel and as soon as you exit you’ll be running down a very narrow elevated path. Follow this path all the way until it ends and you will be running super fast right towards the locked door, jump to clear the edge and bust through the door. The faun will be waiting and give you an orb for your efforts.

Treasure Box in Cave:
** THIS SOLUTION IS 90% THE SAME AS RESCUE THE FAUN, ONLY THE ENDING IS DIFFERENT **
Pre-requisites:
1. You MUST know the headbash move.
2. You MUST have killed all of the earthshapers, some of them can be pushed into lava, the rest are taken care of by…
3. You must complete both of Hunter’s tasks (Alchemist Escort & Earthshaper Bash).
4. You MUST have killed AT LEAST 14 enemies in this area.

Follow the instructions to the Rescue the Faun. Go through the 4th door, keep following through this tunnel and as soon as you exit you’ll be running down a very narrow elevated path. Follow this path out to the left as normal, but as it starts to turn to the right jump down to your left and land just outside the treasure cave, jump again to clear the edge (jumping up into the cave) and smash into the treasure box breaking it open.

Untimed hockey Games in Colossus:
When at the colossus in the summer forest get to the hockey stage. If you leave the arena and go back in the game will be untimed but you only get one chance and then the puck disappears. If you beat the goalee you will go to two player mode. At this point leave again and then return. The puck never disappears and it’s untimed!

Fireballs all the time:
In dragon shores there is a portal that can give you fireballs all the time, all you have to do is get 100% in the game. That’s 60 orbs and 10,000 in treasure.

Extra Sparx Colors:
First, go to the pause screen during your game. Then press Up, Down, Left, Right, Circle. You should then here a sound like you just got a treasure. This will give sparx like an extra color. When you are hit and you have a gold sparx, he will stay gold until you get hit again. Same with when you become blue, etc.

Idol Springs puzzle:
As you first enter the world, swim in the pond. At the far side is a tunnel to the first of three puzzles. To complete the first puzzle jump on the squares to turn the blocks yellow. (As you face the squares) Jump in this order: lower right, lower left, upper right, upper left. Then swim out to the idol in the center of the pond. Blow fire at the fish as they leap out of the water. Only blow at the blue and orange fish. The red ones will deduct fish. At the last puzzle, jump on the blocks in this order: blue triangle, grey triangle, yellow star, orange octagon, and green star.

Finding Gems:
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and Sparks will point in the direction of the nearest gem

Rescue the Fawn:
After you defeat 14 enemies in the area, go down in the pit next to the cage, Jump at the very top of the supercharge (Facing the cage.) and make a sharp turn left behind the cage. Keep going around and make a sharp turn right. Jump to clear the ledge. You will break the door and get an orb.

Bonus ring
At the “Press Start” screen, press Circle, R2, R1, Circle, R2, R1 to unlock the Big Ape arena. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.

Wrestle as Bumblebee Man
At the “Press Start” screen or after pausing the game, press Circle, Left, Up, Left, Down, R1. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.

Wrestle as Moe Syzlack

Theatre mode:
Unlock each character, including Panda, Tiger, Doctor Boskonovitch, and Gon, and view their endings. The “Disc” and “Sound” options under “Theatre Mode” will now be available.

Tekken Ball:
Beat the Arcade Mode with all the original characters and the 10 earnable characters. It is basically a strange version of volleyball without a net.

Anna’s Alternate Outfit:
Play as Anna 25 times in Aracade or Vs. mode. At the Fighter Select Screen hightlight Anna and press Start.

Jack’s Tank Top:
To get Jack’s tank top outfit, play as him 10 times, then select him with the START button.

Jin and Xiaoyu’s Schoolgirl Outfits:
Play as Jin or Xiaoyu 50 times then press START on them to get school outfits or highlight the charachter and hold L1, L2, R1, R2 and Start until time runs out.

Easy win in Tekken Force mode:
Get Gon, and then do the following:Go to Tekken Force mode then soon as the game starts walk a little bit till you see a person then hit the circle key on the controller as fast as you can.Gon will start spinning toward the opponent on Tekken force soon as you knock down that person you will head toward the next one and so on throughout the game and it makes it an easy win with time to spare.

Gun Jack’s Extended Ending:
After you recieve Gun Jack’s old suit. beat the game in the suit to recieve the extended ending.

Alternate Costumes:
To change most character’s outfits, press either the punch or kick button while choosing a fighter. Some of the fighters also have a third costume, you’ll need to press START while choosing your fighter to get get the third outfit.

View Gun Jack’s Good Ending:
Finish the game twice as Gun Jack in Acrade Mode.

Alternate Winning Poses:
To watch your character’s secret winning pose, hold down LEFT KICK or RIGHT KICK during the replay of your win. To see their original poses, hold down LEFT PUNCH or RIGHT PUNCH during the replay of your win. Make sure you hold the button down during all of the replay.

NOTE: Not all characters have multiple or secret poses

Combo Recording:
Go to practice mode and choose Freestyle. At the freestyle options screen, press L1, L2, R1, R2 and CIRCLE then press DOWN and SELECT to record a combo or to replay one

Easy Win with Yoshimitsu:
For a easy win with Yoshimitsu, perform his SHARK ATTACK blow at the beginning of each round. This should take away all of your opponent’s power early in one shot.

GON and Dr. B Made Easy:
If you can’t beat ball mode or force mode or just don’t have the time, her is an easy way to get them. Set the game on easy and one round and infinite time. Play the arcade mode and or the forth, fifth, sixth, and seventh round let the enemy take all but 5 percent of your health then kill him. If you did it right you will here the anouncer say “great” on the next round you will fight Gon or Dr. B. Kill them by using sweeps or anything else and they are yours.

Make MokuJin Sound Like a Wooden Block:
On MokuJin’s Pic, hold DOWN until the match begins.

Play as Doctor B:
To get DOCTOR B, complete TEKKEN FORCE mode four times. Each time you finish one set you’ll get a key. Collect three keys, then defeat Doctor B and he’s yours!

Play as Gon:
If your tired of beating the game with every one just pick any character and play either time attack or survival mode and get a high enough score that it asks for your innitials then write GON as your 3-letter name.

Play as the Tiger:
To play as the tiger, beat the game with 17 different characters, including Eddy Gordo. Once this is done, highlight Eddy Gordo on the character selection screen and press START.

High school stage:
Unlock Jin or Xiaoyu’s extra costume then get them as challenger in that costume

Make Jin a boss:
Enter arcade mode as Heihachi from the stage 9 boss and since you are Heihachi you will face Jin

Eddy Gordo’s moves:
Bounce reflector: Up + X + Circle
Twirl flip forward: Forward + Circle
Jump slicer: Sidestep + X + Circle

Maximum potch:
Note: You must have already recruited the armor shop owner to your
armies cause for this trick. Once this has been done, go to his shop.
This glitch involves some simple calculations, use the following example as a guide to see how it is done. Equip one character with Dragon Armor (23,000 potch), and make sure that at least two other characters have no armor equipped, but can wear Draqon Armor. You should also have 23,000 to 30,000 potch. Talk to the armorer, go to buy, then choose to purchase Dragon Armor. When prompted to place it in the bag or to equip it, choose to equip it on the character already wearing Dragon Armor. When prompted to sell the old armor or put it in the bag, cancel the action. You should still be in buying mode for the armor. Simply purchase the two armorless characters Dragon Armor. The potch meter will reset to somewhere around 999,999.

Recruiting Clive:
When trying to recruit the 108 stars, make sure in Muse you talk to Clive. If you do not do this he will not appear in South Window and you can never get him.

McDohl appearance:
McDohl, the Hero from Suikoden, appears in the game if you have collected all 108 characters from the first Suikoden. Load your previous Suikoden game data when prompted after starting a game. Play through the game until you have gone over to Gregminster and have met their leader. Then, go to Banner Village and talk to Ko, the boy who is dressed similarly to you. After, go over to the east side of Banner where the dock is located. There will be a man, Gremio, blocking your
path (if not him, it will be Ellie). Return to Ko, and he will help you get past the man. That should lead to McDohl. McDohl and Viktor, like others, will make their second appearance in the series.

If you load data from the first Suikoden without having all 108 characters, he will be called RcDohl. But other than the name he is the same person. McDohl (or RcDohl), after returning Ko to banner village, will only join you again if you talk to him in Gregminster. If you have him leave your party afterwards, you have to go all the way back to Gregminster to ask him fight with you again.

To get McDohl in your party, you do not need all 108 characters from the first game. However, when you get him due to a text parsing error in the game, the first letter in McDohl will be the first letter of his name in the first game (for instance, my character was named Daros, so in the second game, his name is DcDohl). This has nothing to do with the number of characters.

Best Ending:
To get the best ending, you must have all 108 characters before you talk to Shu about the Rockaxe mission. Also when you near the end of Rockaxe Castle, when Nanami jumps out to protect you from Gorudo, you must answer very quickly (doesn’t matter which answer you choose). If you did this correctly, after Dr. Huan reports of her unfortunate conditon, he should ask to talk to Shu in private.

Did all that? Alright, then once you’ve beaten the game, head back to Tenzan Path (northwest of Kyaro) and return to that place by the waterfall. Jowy’s there, of course, and you’ll go into a duel with him. Just keep on defending throughout it. After that, he’ll ask you to take his Black Sword Rune. Keep on refusing. Once you’ve refused enough, Leknaat will appear. I won’t spoil the rest, but those are the requirements for getting the best ending.

Early Level Up Trick:
When you are spying on the Highland camp, at the end you get attacked by Highland soldiers. After you beat them, Jowy will hold them off while you run to Nanami. When you reach her, you fight more Highlands(use Bright Shield to defeat them easily). After that she asks where Jowy is. Reply “…..”, and more Highlands appear. After the battle she asks you again. Keep replying “….” to fight more Highlands every time. Keep using Bright Sheild until it runs out, then use Flaming Arrows from the fire rune. After the runes run out, use Family Attack on the one with the spear and just attack the rest.(if you’re not around level 20 this can be difficult)Anyway, the first couple
battles should give close to 1000 experience each. Keep doing that until your levels are pretty high(or they stop giving you less than 100 experience).

Recruit Tetsu:
To recruit Tetsu get Alex (the item keeper) in your group and when he sells fried tacos buy 3. Next go to Lakewest and keep giving them to your hero. Once you done that steam should start coming out of your hero. Then go and talk to Tetsu and he will ask if you like baths and answer I love baths then he will say somethings and will build a sauna for you. The sauna is where you enter in the front not by the bar

Random Teleportation Trick:
When you get Viki in your group and ask her to teleport you somewhere, once in a while she will teleport you in the wrong place. One of which is a hidden room in Radat town. Here you’ll find many nice items.

Fried Tacos:
Fried tacos are also immediately more available at two rivers at kobold item store.

Hai yo cooking tips:
Go to lakewest in takis house on the wall you will find the three couse meal recipe. In the contests always use these foods: Ice cream, No seasoning, Tomato soup (if you have mikimoku) and 3 course meal and you should get a total score of 55 – 59

Against the three headed beast have somone cast canopy defense and every time the monster attacks a blue wall surrounds the party and it does 0 damage and if you also kill the flying rune the damage almost halfs.

Recruit Boris:
Boris is actually Ridleys son and if you want all the stars of destiny get him when your sleeping in tinto nanimi will ask you to run away and if you accept you will leave a note and the blinking mirror on nanimis bed then leave when you get past tinto your hero will callapse and nanimi carries you keep going then in Drakemouth village you rest in a house then you are awakened by a noise then you go outside only to be hit buy a sword and you are asked by viktor or Shu to come back if you do go back Ridley will greet you but if you run away Shu tells the hero that Ridley died protecting Lord Houser then Go to tinto and you will meet Boris.

Strong charcter:
The main person you control at the start of the game, when you first start take all Joeys equipment and use it with the main character. In a battle wait for Jowy to die then kill the enimies for double exp.

Get to Rocaxe Village in the begining of the game:
Go to the Rocaxe and muse boarder they say they cant let you in but push up on the door and it opens but be prepared cause its hard to fight the enimes if you are under level 20 when you do it.

Score challenge mode (Japanese version)
Obtain the Book Of Life in Chapter two. Then, stop reading the book before reaching the “Good Ending”. Now read through the book again to access a hidden “Score Challenge mode”. This mode allows the Chocobo Race sequence to be played for money.

Control screen brightness (Japanese version)
In the “Sound Novel”, press L1 to increase or R1 to decrease the brightness.

Full cure
To cure your party in battle first put the battle mode on active. Then cast Regain on your party. After Regain, but before the next spell, open the PlayStation door. The battle will stop, but the regain will not.

Instantly kill undead
To instantly kill an undead (ghouls, skeletons, etc), simply throw them a Phoenix Down. You will never miss and they’ll die instantly! Note: When you kill undead this way a timer will appear. If you don’t finish the game before the timer reaches 0 the undead will rise again.

Obtain strong weapons
Enter the Deep Dungeon (or explore around the Deep Dungeon) and fight random battles. After awhile a battle with a few male ninjas and one female ninja will begin. The ability catch on all of you characters must be present. Kill all of the male ninjas during the beginning of the battle. Then, wait until the female ninja throws a weapon (Chaos blade, Nagra rock, etc). Since you have the catch ability on, the weapons will be yours.

Obtain rare move find items
When obtaining move find items that are spread throughout the game, step on the panel that has the item hidden beneath and lower your brave level. This increases the chances of obtaining a rare item.

Duplicate weapons
Set the Ninja “Two Swords” skill on anyone. Equip a shield in their right hand, and the item you want duplicated in their left. Now go to a shop that sells the items you want duplicated, choose “BEST FIT” and buy them. Next, go to the formation screen and remove the items. You should now have two of the item you had in the left hand. For example, to duplicate Excaliber, go to Lionel castle’s shop. You’ll get a second Excalibur for only 10 gold.

Cloning swords
The sword to be cloned must be weaker than any other sword that can be purchased. First, change your character to a Knight and equip two swords on him or her. Then, equip the sword to be clone in your character’s lower hand and a shield in the upper hand. Go to a shop, select best fit, and purchase it. Your character should now have two of the desired sword.

Cloning Samurai and Ninja swords
Note: Orlandu must on your team to perform this trick. The sword to be cloned must be weaker than any other sword that can be purchased. Change Orlandu to his primary job and equip two swords on him. Then, equip the sword to be clone in the lower hand and a shield in the upper hand. Go to a shop, select best fit, and purchase it. Your character should now have two of the desired sword.

Get Cloud
This tip must be done during Chapter Four. Not that you should have about six empty spaces in your formation screen before attempting this.

1. Go to Zeltennia Castle and listen to the rumor called “Cursed Island”.
2. Buy a flower from Aeris at Zarghidas Trade City then go to Goug machine city with Mustadio. The screen will fade and go to a scene of Mustadio, Ramza and a steel ball.
3. Go to the bar in Goland Coal City and listen to the rumor of the “Ghost of Colliery”.

4. After this, go to Lesalia Imperia and the screen should shown a scene of a bar. When you leave, invite Beowulf to join your party.

5. Now that you have Beowulf, go to Goland Coal City and you will fight 4 battles here and save Reis. After you save Reis you will get a Zodiac Stone that will trigger the steel ball.

6. Return to Goug Machine City again and add the Robot to your party.

7. Now that you have the robot, go to Nelveska Temple. You will fight another robot kill him and you will recieve a stone that will bring Cloud to your world.

8. Now go back to Goug Machine City and you will trigger the time portal machine and it will suck Cloud from the future bringing him to your world.

9. Now go to Zarghidas Trade City and save Cloud from the thieves that are punking Aeris. Note: If this part didn’t work make sure that you killed Dycerag and his Zodiac Soul Adramelk.

When Cloud joins your party all he can do is defend and attack. You’ll need to find his Materia Blade so that he can use all of his limit attacks from Final Fantasy VII. The Materia Blade is located in the Bervania Volcano. Set your party’s on Move-Find Item. Then go to the highest tall rock and to the top of it.
